Astra has commenced the 16th SATU Indonesia Awards 2025 in Pangkalpinang, Bangka Belitung Islands. The event aims to recognize young Indonesians contributing to sustainable living in health, education, environment, entrepreneurship, and technology sectors. This marks the second city visited during this year’s roadshow.
Governor of Bangka Belitung Islands Hidayat Arsani attended the event and encouraged the youth present. He stated, “I represent all people of Bangka Belitung Islands in expressing gratitude and appreciation to Astra for initiating today’s event.” He emphasized the importance of youth uniting their skills for national development.
Chief of Corporate Affairs Astra Boy Kelana Soebroto remarked on Astra’s belief in the significant role of youth for national progress through positive contributions felt by society or their surroundings. “The SATU Indonesia Awards program is expected to provide support in motivating young generations as drivers of national advancement,” he said.
The award program collaborates with media partners such as Tempo, Antara, Kumparan, IDN Times, and Young on Top. In 2024, registrations increased by 11.8% from the previous year with 16,775 applicants.
Recipients will receive Rp65 million in activity funding along with guidance opportunities to collaborate with over 1,500 Desa Sejahtera Astra and Kampung Berseri Astra across Indonesia’s provinces.

The judging panel includes Prof. Nila Moeloek from Universitas Indonesia’s Faculty of Medicine; Prof. Fasli Jalal from YARSI University; Billy Boen from Young On Top; Ritno Kurniawan who received recognition in environmental field at SATU Indonesia Awards 2017; and Supriyanto representing Astra Group Bangka Belitung Region among others.
Eligibility criteria stipulate that programs must be initiated by individuals or groups whose leaders are under 35 years old during registration period. Activities should not affiliate with any company or institution nor have received benefits from Astra Group before.
Astra continues its commitment towards supporting active roles of young generations for sustainable Indonesian development aligning with its aspirations for shared prosperity and supporting Indonesia’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
