Astra is participating in the World Expo 2025 Osaka, showcasing its commitment to sustainable development and Indonesian culture. The company is actively involved in the Indonesia Pavilion under the theme “Thriving in Harmony: Nature, Culture, Future,” which aligns with Indonesia’s vision of unity and sustainability.
The pavilion features several programs including National Day Indonesia, a business forum, one-on-one meetings, rolling exhibitions, and cultural performances. Key figures attending the National Day event include Pratikno, Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Cultural Affairs of Indonesia; Febrian Alphyanto Ruddyard, Deputy Minister of National Development Planning; Selvie Ananda from Dekranas; Heri Akhmadi, Indonesian Ambassador to Japan; Gita Tiffani Boer from Astra; and Boy Kelana Soebroto from Astra.
Pratikno stated that the expo serves as a historical milestone to accelerate green transition and foster creative economy. He emphasized collaboration opportunities in clean energy, sustainable infrastructure, digital transformation, and tourism as pillars for Indonesia’s economic transformation towards “Indonesia Emas 2045.”
Boy Kelana Soebroto expressed pride in supporting the pavilion as it showcases Indonesian culture and innovation globally while fostering international understanding of unique Indonesian values.
Astra’s participation includes contributions from its foundations focusing on SMEs through Yayasan Dharma Bhakti Astra and education via Yayasan Pendidikan Astra Michael D. Ruslim. Products like woven bags and traditional crafts are exhibited alongside cultural performances by students supported by these foundations.
This involvement continues Astra’s long-term commitment to supporting Indonesia at world expos since 2010. It aligns with Astra’s goals for community prosperity and supports Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Indonesia.
