The joint press conference held on June 10, 2025, by Daimler Truck, Mitsubishi Fuso, Hino Motors, and Toyota Motor Corporation focused on their collaboration in the commercial vehicle business. The event took place from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. JST and was accessible via a live stream with English interpretation.

Key speakers included Karin Rådström, CEO of Daimler Truck Holding AG; Karl Deppen, New Holding Company CEO and President and CEO of Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation; Satoshi Ogiso, President and CEO of Hino Motors, Ltd.; and Koji Sato, President and CEO of Toyota Motor Corporation.

During the event, the companies discussed their efforts to integrate Mitsubishi Fuso and Hino Motors as part of their commitment to “Achieving Zero,” which aims to address societal issues by reducing negative impacts on people and the environment. Additionally, they are looking “Beyond Zero” to create greater value for future societies.

Toyota emphasized its long-standing mission since its founding in 1937 to develop safe and high-quality products that promote mobility for all. This aligns with their goal of transforming into a mobility company focusing on connected, automated, shared, and electrified technologies while adhering to their Guiding Principles and supporting several United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
