During the event, the companies discussed their efforts to integrate Mitsubishi Fuso and Hino Motors as part of their commitment to “Achieving Zero,” which aims to address societal issues by reducing negative impacts on people and the environment. Additionally, they are looking “Beyond Zero” to create greater value for future societies.
Toyota emphasized its long-standing mission since its founding in 1937 to develop safe and high-quality products that promote mobility for all. This aligns with their goal of transforming into a mobility company focusing on connected, automated, shared, and electrified technologies while adhering to their Guiding Principles and supporting several United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
