Lexus announced on Mar. 10 its participation in Milan Design Week 2026, where it will debut an immersive installation called SPACE centered around the new Lexus LS Concept. The event is scheduled to take place from April 21 to April 26 at Superstudio Più Daylight in Milan, Italy.
The announcement highlights Lexus’ ongoing commitment to innovation and redefining luxury mobility. The company said the SPACE installation explores the concept of “space” within a modern luxury lifestyle, inviting visitors to experience new possibilities in personal and private environments.
As part of its presence at one of the world’s largest design events, Lexus will showcase five works: the main SPACE installation and four additional pieces from Discover Together 2026. These works are created by emerging designers who interpret Lexus’ vision through their own perspectives. This year’s theme, Discover Your Space, focuses on unique personal spaces using the Lexus LS Concept as a shared motif.
Participants for Discover Together 2026 include Kyotaro Hayashi and Yumi Kurotani from Japan, Guardini Ciuffreda Studio from Italy, Random Studio from the Netherlands, and a collaborative team combining Lexus in-house designers with Japanese master artisans. According to Lexus International, these teams aim to present distinctive creative ideas that reflect both global and Japanese craftsmanship.
Toyota Motor Corporation, which oversees Lexus International, said it continues to develop innovative products while supporting customers and communities worldwide. The company stated that its efforts align with many United Nations Sustainable Development Goals as it transitions into a mobility company focused on connected, automated, shared, and electrified technologies.
Looking ahead to Milan Design Week 2026, Lexus invites attendees to explore how mobility can transform not just transportation but also the very nature of space itself.
