Samsung Electronics has announced that it will present a new range of premium built-in kitchen appliances at IFA 2025, focusing on the growing trend in Europe for open kitchen designs that resemble café interiors and provide a more spacious environment.

The main product in this lineup is the Extractor Induction Hob. This appliance integrates a hood with a turbo slim fan directly into the cooktop, allowing for either below or behind-the-counter exhaust duct installation. The design aims to efficiently remove smoke and odors from cooking. The hob includes Flex Zone Plus technology, featuring four induction coils per zone to allow flexible pot placement and even heat distribution. Its surface is made from matte, high-durability glass with an anti-fingerprint coating to resist scratches and facilitate maintenance.

According to Samsung, “This product not only eliminates the need for ceiling-mounted hoods with its performance but also enhances spatial openness and visual flow. As European kitchen trends shift toward removing upper cabinets and emphasizing large island counters, this new product offers an excellent option for customers who prefer a cleaner, more open kitchen aesthetic with an island-style layout.”

Also being introduced in Europe is the Bespoke AI Dishwasher. It features an Auto Open Door function that enables fully built-in installation without requiring an external handle, which helps maintain a seamless look matching modern kitchen cabinets. The redesigned upper rack provides dedicated space for glassware.

Samsung stated: “The dishwasher is not only aesthetically pleasing but also boasts outstanding performance through its AI Wash cycle. Its high-sensitivity turbidity sensor and AI algorithm automatically select the optimal cleaning cycle based on the dishes’ soil level.” The company reports that since its initial launch in Korea and the U.S., use of the AI Wash cycle has surpassed previous cycles as of August 2025.

Both new products are designed with improved energy efficiency in mind as part of Samsung’s ongoing commitment to advanced home living solutions. The appliances will be displayed at IFA 2025 in Berlin from September 5-9, with plans for European market availability in the first half of 2026.
