V-Green, a global developer of electric vehicle charging infrastructure, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Telkom Property, a subsidiary of Telkom Indonesia. The agreement aims to support the expansion of VinFast’s electric vehicle ecosystem in Indonesia and Southeast Asia.
Under the terms of the memorandum, V-Green will be able to use parking lots and other properties managed by Telkom Property throughout Indonesia. These sites will be used for developing electric vehicle charging stations, parking facilities, and infrastructure for green transportation such as electric taxis.
Telkom Property manages and develops real estate assets for Telkom Indonesia. The company will identify suitable properties for V-Green’s projects and may lease them directly to V-Green based on mutual agreements.
The partnership is intended to expand the charging network in Indonesia and encourage a shift toward electric vehicles. According to Ms. Amini Kusumawati, Business Director of Telkom Property: “We are very excited to collaborate with V-Green – a company with a clear strategy and strong commitment to developing electric vehicle infrastructure in Indonesia. This cooperation not only generates business value for Telkom Property, but also supports the green mobility revolution and paves the way for a more prosperous and sustainable future for the Indonesian people.”
Mr. Mai Truong Giang, CEO of V-Green Indonesia, said: “The reputation and resources of Telkom Property will be an important driving force for V-Green to accelerate the expansion of our charging network across Indonesia. Together, we will contribute to completing the VinFast electric vehicle ecosystem, creating outstanding value for consumers and making a meaningful contribution to the global green transportation revolution.”
V-Green was established by Pham Nhat Vuong, who is also the founder of VinFast. VinFast operates in Indonesia and provides free access to its charging stations operated by V-Green for its customers.
Since entering Indonesia less than two years ago, VinFast has launched several models including VF 3, VF 5, VF 6, VF e34, and VF 7. The company has expanded partnerships with dealers and financial institutions nationwide to help consumers transition more easily to electric vehicles.
VinFast is also preparing to start operations at an assembly plant in Subang that is expected to create thousands of jobs and contribute significantly to Indonesia’s electric vehicle industry.
