Vietcombank and IDICO have formalized a strategic cooperation agreement alongside a VNĐ4 trillion (US$154.2 million) credit contract to fund the Tân Phước 1 Industrial Park project in Tiền Giang province. This development is part of Vietcombank’s efforts to support Vietnam’s green transition, aligning with the country’s goal of achieving net zero emissions by 2050.

In April, both entities had previously signed a VNĐ2.45 trillion loan for IDICO’s first eco-industrial park, Vinh Quang (Phase 1), located in Hải Phòng City.

Vietcombank has significantly increased its green credit portfolio over the past four years, growing from VND11,765 billion in 2020 to nearly VND47,600 billion in 2024. The bank aims to provide stable and flexible funding through modern financial solutions, reinforcing its role as a reliable financial partner committed to long-term collaboration with IDICO for advancing green transformation.

Representatives at the signing ceremony included Mr. Võ Minh Trí from Vietcombank East Saigon and Mr. Nguyễn Hồng Hải from IDICO Tiền Giang JSC. They were present for the credit agreement related to the Tân Phước 1 Industrial Park project.

The partnership agreement includes Vietcombank offering comprehensive financial services to IDICO’s ecosystem such as payment management, international payments, trade finance, foreign exchange services, capital markets support, and customized products for employees and partners.

Vietcombank is also financing other projects like Cầu Nghìn Industrial Park in Thái Bình and expanding cooperation on key projects including Vinh Quang Industrial Park (Phase 1) and Tân Phước 1 Industrial Park.

This collaboration exemplifies finance-industry synergy aimed at promoting sustainable development amidst global integration and digital transformation.
