Vietcombank has been named the most valuable banking brand in Vietnam for the third consecutive year, according to the Vietnam 100 2025 report from Brand Finance. The report, released by the global brand valuation consultancy, places Vietcombank at the top of the banking sector and third among Vietnam’s 100 most valuable brands overall.

The bank’s brand value reached $2.4 billion in 2025, representing a 16 percent increase from the previous year. This growth allowed Vietcombank to surpass major companies in real estate, technology, and consumer goods sectors. In addition to its ranking among valuable brands, Vietcombank secured second place among the country’s strongest brands with a Brand Strength Index (BSI) score of 95.3 out of 100.

Brand Finance noted that while the combined value of Vietnam’s top 100 brands dropped by 14 percent compared to last year, Vietcombank’s performance stood out for its resilience during economic challenges. The consultancy highlighted that “87 per cent of banks in Việt Nam are accelerating digital transformation, with Vietcombank standing out as a bright spot.” Continuous investments in digital platforms and efforts to improve customer experience have contributed to strengthening its market position.

The bank’s focus on customer-centric strategies was also recognized. By offering financial products tailored for individuals, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and large corporations, Vietcombank has expanded its market share and increased customer engagement.

Brand Finance concluded: “Vietcombank’s consistent growth in both brand value and brand strength demonstrates not only its leadership within Việt Nam but also its position as a representative of Vietnamese brands on the global financial stage.”
