Hanoi, May 27, 2025 – The DX Summit 2025 Forum commenced with participation from various stakeholders, including domestic and international delegates, technology experts, and representatives from corporations and financial institutions. Organized by the Vietnam Software and Information Technology Services Association (VINASA), the event is set to run for two days under the theme “Mastering Technology – Breakthrough, Growing.” This year’s forum emphasizes the pivotal role of technology in Vietnam’s socio-economic development strategy.

Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa, Chairman of VINASA and CEO of FPT Corporation, highlighted in his opening speech that science, technology, and digital transformation have never been more central to national development strategies. He referred to Resolution 57 of the Politburo as a catalyst for innovation enterprises. Mr. Khoa stated that Vietnam has favorable conditions to become a hub for high-quality technology human resources due to its young workforce and increasing number of IT students.

“Today’s forum is not only a place to share but also a place to create policy changes,” said Mr. Khoa. He proposed improvements in legal frameworks and investments in digital infrastructure and human resource training as essential steps toward seizing opportunities in the global market.

Mr. Vu Anh Tu, Chief Technology Officer of FPT Corporation, discussed AI autonomy during his presentation at the summit. He noted that Vietnam is entering a breakthrough phase with over 54,500 digital technology enterprises generating significant industry revenue.

FPT has identified artificial intelligence as a growth pillar for the next decade. The company aims to develop AI products tailored to Vietnamese culture while investing heavily in AI infrastructure both domestically and internationally.

A key aspect of FPT’s strategy involves promoting scientific research and training future generations in AI skills through collaborations with prestigious universities like Stanford and UPenn.

“We hope that with these efforts every student, employee, and citizen can use AI effectively,” concluded Mr. Vu Anh Tu.

The DX Summit 2025 Forum underscores FPT’s commitment to pioneering Vietnam’s digital future alongside government initiatives aimed at establishing Vietnam as a leading digital technology center in the region.
