VinFast, a Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer, has announced a new partnership with Autohaus Jakob GmbH as part of its expansion in Europe. The agreement will see Autohaus Jakob providing sales, aftersales, warranty, and spare parts services for VinFast vehicles in Germany. This move comes as VinFast reports an increase in German sales of its VF 6 model.

The new showroom will be located at Andreasberg 4, 36041 Fulda and is expected to open in September 2025. This dealership joins VinFast’s existing network in Germany, which includes agreements with Autohaus Hübsch and Schachtschneider Automobile GmbH & Co KG. With this addition, VinFast now has six official authorized showrooms in the country.

Mr. Jörg Kelling, Country Sales Director for VinFast Europe, commented on the partnership: “Our collaboration with Autohaus Jakob GmbH is a clear reflection of VinFast’s long-term vision to optimize our business model in Europe, working with the best service providers in each market. Partnering with Autohaus Jakob demonstrates our commitment to the huge new car market in Germany; the largest in Europe, home to the greatest number of authorized VinFast dealers and fastest-growing volume of sales,” she continued. “By drawing on the local expertise, infrastructure, and credibility of each carefully selected partner, we aim to cement our long-term presence in Germany, France and other parts of Europe, driving the uptake of aspirational, attainable EVs and inspiring a sustainable future.”

The company says that working with established dealerships like Autohaus Jakob aligns with its strategy to accelerate global dealership roll-out and respond quickly to changes within the electric vehicle sector.

Mr. Benjamin Jakob, CEO from Autohaus Jakob GmbH stated: “We are honored to partner with VinFast and contribute to a global green mobility movement led by this pioneering Vietnamese brand. We strongly believe in the future of electric vehicles and VinFast’s growth potential in Europe. Our team is committed to building a successful, long-term partnership that delivers top-tier products and services to our customers.”

Customers at the Fulda showroom will have access to test drives and purchases of VinFast’s eSUV lineup—including both the B-segment VF 6 aimed at urban drivers and the larger D-segment VF 8 designed for families and businesses.

VinFast continues its plan to expand its range of electric vehicles while also investing heavily in customer experience through partnerships with aftersales providers such as ATU (Germany), Norauto (France), and LKQ (Netherlands).
