VinFast Indonesia has signed Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with five companies—Goodyear Indonesia, Dunlop, Denso Sales Indonesia, CARfix, and Scuto Paint—to enhance its after-sales service for electric vehicles in the Indonesian market. The agreements are aimed at building a comprehensive support ecosystem as VinFast continues to expand its presence in Southeast Asia.
Under the agreement with Goodyear Indonesia, the company will supply tires for VinFast’s electric vehicles and work together on maintenance programs and regular inspections at Goodyear’s service centers. The collaboration is expected to broaden service coverage and help maintain vehicle performance for customers across the country.
Dunlop will certify select Dunlop Shops as Authorized VinFast Service Workshops. These locations will provide a full range of services including EV maintenance, software updates, tire replacement, charging station installation and upkeep, as well as general vehicle care. Dunlop operates a widespread network in Indonesia to ensure customers have access to these services nationwide.
The MOU with Denso Sales Indonesia involves certifying Denso’s workshop chain as an Authorized VinFast Service Workshop. Denso will deliver repair and maintenance services following international standards while supporting technician training and technology transfer efforts.
CARfix will offer aftersales services such as periodic maintenance, oil changes, engine tune-ups, wheel alignment, diagnostic checks, and general repairs by certified technicians trained to meet VinFast’s quality standards.
Scuto Paint has been appointed as VinFast’s official body repair and paint partner in Indonesia. Its network in major cities features certified EV technicians equipped with specialized tools to ensure consistent repair quality.
Kariyanto Hardjosoemarto, CEO of VinFast Indonesia, said: “Partnering with five leading companies Goodyear, Dunlop, Denso Sales, CARfix, and Scuto Paint, is a strategic move that enables VinFast to elevate after-sales service quality while laying the foundation for a modern, sustainable, and standardized service ecosystem. This initiative is part of VinFast’s broader strategy to realize our vision of becoming a global EV brand and contribute to Indonesia’s green transition.”
VinFast already maintains an after-sales network spanning Jakarta, Surabaya, Bali and other key regions in Indonesia. The company emphasizes industry-leading warranty policies along with programs guaranteeing residual value for their vehicles.
VinFast entered the Indonesian market in 2024 with plans to become a major player in Southeast Asia’s growing electric vehicle sector. The firm is investing not only in vehicle sales but also charging infrastructure and financial solutions designed to improve customer experience throughout the region.
