Xanh SM Laos has entered into a strategic partnership with the Vietnam Business Association in Laos (AVILA) to expand electric mobility services in Vientiane and surrounding areas. The agreement is intended to address the increasing demand for safe, transparent, and environmentally friendly transportation among businesses in Laos.
The cooperation will see Xanh SM provide a range of corporate-focused electric mobility options. These include Xanh SM Taxi, airport transfer services, and customized packages for events or specific operational needs. The company will also offer a transportation management system that allows journey tracking, regular reporting, and cost optimization for business clients.
As the use of electric vehicles grows within the Lao business sector, this collaboration marks AVILA as the first organization to work with Xanh SM on bringing green mobility solutions into practical use. Both parties plan to organize activities such as electric vehicle experiences, expert workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions to help companies understand the benefits of transitioning to greener transport.
At the signing ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Ha – Chairman of AVILA Vientiane stated: “Safe and transparent mobility is an increasingly essential need for the business community. Our collaboration with Xanh SM offers companies operating in Laos a transportation solution that aligns with the country’s green development direction. We believe electric vehicle services will bring practical value to businesses in the years ahead.”
Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Thuy Linh – Deputy CEO of Operations for Vietnam and Laos at Xanh SM added: “Laos is entering a pivotal phase of modernization and sustainable development. We value the opportunity to accompany the local business community, and we aim to contribute through electric-mobility solutions tailored to the country’s infrastructure and strategic priorities. Our goal is to provide convenience, transparency, and consistent service quality to businesses.”
This partnership comes as Laos continues its efforts toward sustainable urban development. The announcement coincides with celebrations marking 50 years since Lao National Day.
